Le Temps des Cerises – Bistro

A neighborhood institution. One of the oldest restaurants in Paris, opened in 1830 amid cherry orchards and still adorned in 1930s style. A quintessential Parisian bistro, with a zinc counter, yellow and red mosaic tiles, vintage photos and paintings of old Paris, and chalkboard menus on the walls…

The terrace even served as the backdrop for a scene in Emily in Paris (season 6). At the table, classic red-and-white checkered napkins set the tone, and on the plate: hearty, traditional bistro fare. Start with a gratinéed French onion soup, follow with a bistro-style burger or mushroom risotto. Always finish with a tarte tatin or a spoon-crackling crème brûlée.

31 rue de la Cerisaie, Paris 4th.

Tel. +33 (0)1 42 72 08 63.

Open Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 2 am, Sunday from 9 am.
