Timothée Paris meets Camille Landru

Question from Mrs. A: what are the greatest lessons that 2020 has taught you?
2020 was oddly fruitful on a personal level, because I launched my projects which were not affected by covid and 2020 also allowed me to renew myself in some ways. The most difficult task will be to persist.
However, on a global level, this year has shown us that we are, I think, in an involution of ourselves. We do try to evolve, but in view of everything that is happening such as violence, inequalities, lack of realism on ecology, how we managed the pandemic amounts to a sad observation. It is alarming. Humans close in on themselves instead of moving forward. It is an incredibly sad observation, what I say but what I really mean. On the other hand, that does not take away from the good things that are happening in the world, as there are good things happening, but the good things are unfortunately overshadowed by the general atmosphere that reigns today.
Hi, my name is Camille, and I kill the mood from the start.
Q1) How did you start your day today?

Woke up at 5am, ran 4km, did 200 push-ups, drank 2 raw eggs and a protein shake….Then actually realising I was waking up in my bed and it was 8:30am, so obviously it was a dream….Instead  I drank my coffee and checked my emails

Q2) Do you have any morning rituals?

Not really, no.

Coffee and shower are necessary otherwise I can’t function.

Q3) What music would you choose for the day today and why?

Riptide by Vance Foy - It puts you in a good mood and since I skate around here and there, it's a good song to ride too.

Q4) What made you happy the last time?

It depends on what scale. Last night my meal made me happy as I like good food, but otherwise a professional meeting that I had a few days ago which went well, or if we go back a bit further, when I managed to do a skateboard trick that I had been working on for a long time.

Q5) Where is the best place you've been and why?

It's tough, but generally speaking, a really cool experience was going to South America for a few months, alone! It certainly opened my eyes to a lot of things and pulled me out of my comfort zone. I have met and experienced incredible moments. Burning man too was a pretty crazy memory.

Q6) Your current obsession?

Magic, I'm trying to learn a trick but I'm having a hard time with it.

Q7) Who would be your ideal dinner guest and why?

Terrence Malick, I would like to ask him lots of questions about the production. David Blaine for the same reasons or Ricky Gervais for simply listening to him talk and laugh.

Q8) What relaxes you?

Skateboarding, surfing, classical music and writing. Let’s not lie to each other, a good massage also does the trick.

Q9) What skills rarely taught would be extremely useful in everyday life?

Politeness of course. It is something that gets lost. It would also be relevant to make children aware of ecology very early on.

Q10) A word to describe you?

Versatile.

Q11) Which question would you like to ask the next person?

Why "all attached" is written separately while "separately" is written all attached?
